Contrary to how many feel, I think it’s more humane to eat the one catches.

I occasionally like fish, cod, halibut is good although I haven't had that in yonks.
I'm talking about going to the supermarket, getting my choice out of the freezer section and frying it at home.
Occasionally fresh from the fish seller's but then they gotta clean it for me.

There Are Three Main Fish Groups:

The Osteichthyes, or bony fish, include both ray-finned and lobe-finned fish, accounting for over 30,000 species in all, ranging from familiar food fish like salmon and tuna to more exotic lungfish and electric eels.

The Chondrichthyes, or cartilaginous fish, include sharks, rays and skates

and the Agnatha, or jawless fish, include hagfish and lampreys.

Are you impressed yet?

What girl doesn't like cartilaginous?

Halibut as grilled steaks & Columbia River Sturgeon deep fried are the best .. but a nice bass or cod will suffice if nothing else can be found.. and since the last two are filleted.. cleaning not so terrible if you have a very nice sharp knife.

A batch of crappie is ok for a Saturday afternoon also.. but takes a few to make a good sized meal.

I had it in very thin slices -much like thin sliced smoked salmon but different colour- on toast once, an apΓ©ritif. Not sure now if it was smoked but it was delicious for sure!!

Some will remember me posting this before ., when I was younger I studied sex change in red pigfish. Seeing their social interaction as a group and understanding those interactions gave me a new perspective on fishingwaving New Zealand is fortunate to have protected marine waters and an abundance of sea life love love

Are you teasing people cat??? New Zealand is difficult to visit at the moment and becoming increasingly more difficult . Our Biggest threat from covid is at our international borders., Thankfully our government acknowledges that and controls have been implanted with ongoing review .

Blondey, a little tease but don't see people going to your country right now. I'm not wanting people to visit where I live, but they do. People can stay home for a while.
