Reminds me of a movie I saw once called Idiocroci . You should check it out , you could use it for a road map for the joe Biden era we are all going to have face . Sad.

What's sad is people not seeing trump incited violence and 5 people died. He was a maniac on Twitter and Thank GOD his hate platforms are shut down. MOST us citizens will be happy.

They don't like democracy or the constitution. They'll only bltch about or defend it, if it happens to them - and IT WILL happen to them. Not that I'm saying once in power the right will do the same....I'm saying things such as this has no other course and the left doesn't see it coming.

Parler is a much better platform, and this will only make Parler bigger. They don't shut down speech like the twitter nutjobs do, so the right will have a place in the town square, and the left will join to see what Trump is saying because they are angry people that will need to feed their anger.

And the fact is, trump’s social media advertised a rally, and incited violence against the Capitol that killed 5 people.

Agree, reminds me of an era my family had lived through before, 1940's Germany and most of Europe. And then again afterwards, Location: East Germany... Yes, the 1st Amendment doesn't mean much anymore... it starts with censorship, right to your own opinion, freedom to expression of such without being "punished" - it's just the beginning...

I haven't taught the constitution in a couple of decades, but I seem to recall something in the 1st amendment about peaceable assembly. I'm thinking that a good case can be made that the riot Trump incited violates that particular tenet.

Folks, Twitter is not violating the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. That Amendment does not give one the right to force another party to transmit one's speech.
