Relaxed.. first time in a while it's just me and the dogs at home.. Son went out of town to work... it's so peaceful here right now.. Totally going to enjoy the few days I have the house all to myself~~ Sounds really good! Enjoy the hell out of it! Ohhh believe me I'm enjoying it to the fullest.. And plan on getting some cleaning since it will at least stay clean till he gets back.. |

Worried. My daughter phoned me that she has been really unwell last night and still not feeling right. Her heart doing weird things, feeling dizzy, shaking etc. She's going to see the GP in 20 mins.
I'm concerned... |

Well so far heart, lungs, bloodpressure, saturation are okay. But he consulted another doctor and neither were sure.
He's now consulting a cardiologist. They don't like the drop in heartrate she's experiencing. The speeding up doesn't concern them so much, but the drop... She's still there, in the waitingroom now, Apping me in between. |

The cardiologist said he had more similar cases of late, people her age too.
He wants her to do a Holter for 72 hours. Meaning she has to go to hospital to have that put on her, then wear it for 3 days. That's because she doesn't have it every night but a few times a week, so they need a longer period of time to hopefully register what's going on. She thought she'd have to stay in hospital for 3 days. GP didn't explain clearly. Thank goodness there's mommy who knows a bit about these things, hihi. I had thought maybe a bad allergic reaction to blowing. I told her to tell the GP she smokes. He was happy she was honest, but didn't directly think it was the cause. I'm still not convinced as bad allergic reaction to weed can cause similar things, plunging blood pressure (eeekhh!) trouble breathing etc. All what she had. So I'm not happy the GP didn't go for blood testing right away and incorporate that allergy test. But yeah... Wait and see and keeping my fingers crossed she's going to be okay. She didn't wake her partner last night nor phoned the emergency doctor services. I told her to do that ifever something like that is up again. She felt awkward, didn't want to bother them. Good thing I can be there for her, it strengthens her when I support her in what to do. Medical chit she always phones me for. Thank goodness the GP also said to phone emergency services if it is that bad again. He also told her not to quit smoking weed right away, which she had planned, as she's been smoking for so long. Better to ween off of it. I'm not too happy about that, although it makes sense. But if it IS an allergic reaction to weed... then it is not particularly handy. So no real answer yet. Just fingers crossed. |

I think I'm going for what you said earlier, something and nothing, hihi. It is difficult not to worry when something up with your child, isn't it. It helps to know she's not alone. |
