When this virus crap is over I'd like to find a new place to go dancing that isn't full of children and has good music. Any suggestions? I do not like country, hip hop or r&b. Everything else is cool. I have children in their 20s, so I have zero desire to be in a place full of kids just like them. Mine are annoying enough.

I'm not thinking about where to go yet as it's beginning to look like it will be at least another half year before we can go back to going out.

I used to go a music café with a live band. A different one every day of the weekend.
I didn't know anyone there, but since there is live music that doesn't matter as the band and live music brings people together for the evening.
Easiest place to go to as a woman on her own. A normal pub can be highly annoying as you easily get harassed by (semi) drunk men when alone, and frankly, it's boring as hell without live music to just stand there or sit at a bar doing nothing. In the music café I'm on the dance floor, right in front of the stage :p and dancing! Never boring!!

Unfortunately that music café closed, possibly permanently, due to the crisis. So wait and see how it goes when it over. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll re-open!

I'm not in a hurry. I'm just looking for a place to get out of the house. I've never had a problem being harassed by men believe it or not. Being six feet tall in bare feet with the mom death stare usually makes losers back up fast. All my male friends say I'm scary looking when I'm mad. They're lucky I'm pretty laid back I guess.

Zumba in the living room...

Or with a partner who has also self-quarantined for 14 days -then dinner and dancing for two.

It depends where you live. Take a friend and go looking or ask people your own age where they enjoy going to.
