Front row seats. End of the aisle. A drunk ran down the hill and body slammed into me. Found myself on YT dancing throughout the concert. Overall a great night. |

Oh boy, way too many. Patti LaBelle, Stevie Wonder, Jacksons, Janet Jackson, Luther Vandross, Roger and Zapp, Maze, Mint Condition, Boy2Men, Mary J. Blige, George Clinton, The Deele, The Gap Band, George Benson, Bon Jovi, Alabama, Will Downing, Bell Biv Devoe, Shalamar, Whispers, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, LeVert, I really can't remember them all. I will always remember being excited for that Marvin Gaye tour, and he was killed before the second leg began. That was a devastating loss, will always remember the day that the news hit of his death.

Well I've been in the middle of over 1,000 concerts and shows (read my profile) but I guess my favorite and considering what happened in Oct. '77 would still be my very first; Lynyrd Skynyrd back in '74!

It was and still is the most awesome concert I have been fortunate enough to attend. It was back when it was just General Admission only.. Get there early and get in line.. Got in the building within the first 100 people.. Best concert shirt also.. "Ram it down Shove it up.. with the nice middle finger extended.. LOL Rob Halford is a true Metal God in my opinion. |

If we're just talking favorites.
Moody Blues w/ The Nashville Symphony at an outdoor Balloon Festival would probably be in the top 5. Metallica at Bonarroo in 2008. Rob Zombie with The Necromantics Billy Joel's Piano Man Tour Volunteer Jam V I know there's more, but trying to remember them isn't easy, my memory is a blur. |
