Well, I suppose that it is time to provide some information concerning my life thus far. For some unknown reason, I became totally fascinated with Pseudocarcinus gigas as a child, and since the Tasmanian giant crabs are as hard to find as hens teeth in the states, I went to Australia. Landed in Sydney, and went directly to the Sydney Fish Market, and there they were. A diminutive woman asked if I wanted to see one up close, and since I just flew from the states for this very moment, I probably answered "YES!!" a tad bit louder than I should have. I touched a dream; that massive claw, those undulating legs, it was magic. That poor woman had to laugh while struggling with that 26 pound mammoth after she asked if I wanted her to cook it; "Of course not, I don't want to eat it, I want to keep it". If I could have figured out the logistics of getting it back to the states, and where to keep it when I had done so, I would have had a couple of them with me. Live the dream. Life is way too short to not smile, be happy, and live the dream. That is me in a nutshell.
