Topic: Do people really meet their soulmates online? | |
---|---|
Well it doesn't seem to work for me. I have observed that almost all the women online (and probably men too) are either not seriously looking for a relationship or are scammers. Too many times I have been in contact back and forth for a long while only to realize they just ghosted me. Whenever, among many things a woman asks me "where are you from" in the very beginning, I know that communication isn't going anywhere, that's my dead giveaway clue. But I don't blame them entirely, because people have dented this fine opportunity with malice and treachery so much that it makes it difficult to trust anyone and women especially are overly guarded. However, hey not every person that looks/has a certain skin color/comes from a particular location is here to do bad deeds. In a sac of rotten peanuts, you'd still find some good peanuts. It will be better not to paint everyone with the same paintbrush! There are good people who seriously and honestly looking for relationships/marriages. Sometimes I get asked "why can't you find a girl from your locality/community/country"? Well that isn't a bad question at all and actually that is the ideal way to get connected in most instances, however, due to circumstances beyond once control, this might not be possible/available as an option. I guess I don't wish to go into that now. Hopefully that might be another topic for another time. But what I would like to say is that, some situations believe it or not put seekers in a dilemma of not meeting enough or any potential suitors in their daily lives especially as Muslims, thus the internet becomes the best opportunity to get connected with potential suitors. Unfortunately, this fine opportunity has been polluted by villains and therefore, it is proving ineffective as far as I am concerned. I doubt people that look a certain way/have a certain skin color/ from certain part of the world, ever get to meet their soulmates online, I doubt it I stand to be corrected though!

I think it's true to say you can meet a potential soulmate online, but until you both meet in the real world, treat it as friendship only because that is all it can be in my opinion. You need to meet each other as soon as possible, so it's better to find someone closer to home where distance isn't an issue. When you both live in different countries you can learn a lot about each other online first, which is good, but if you don't meet up reasonably quickly it could all just fade away. |

Wisdom Interacting via TCP/IP/Wireless connection is not meeting your soulmmate. Its merely interacting with an electronic representation which may or may not be accurate. 'Your soulmate' could be a 500lb guy living in his mom's basement in Cleveland, Ohio who goes by the name of "Chuck". |
