I like black clothing also.. lol.. a downside no doubt is the fluff.. If I am shopping and see a piece of clothing that has it already.. I will pass..

But real, deep fluff, that takes time and effort to achieve .

Yes I believe in fluff at first site.

On another topic, there are 'pill shavers', or 'ball shavers', (not that sort).
Like a razor blade on wheels, in a collection box, that you skim over clothing to slice off the pilling. Easier, but still a pain to do.

I've been collecting dryer fluff for years. One day I hope to make a sweater.

Spray glue may help in this project.

I was thinking of using staples.

For a real heavy duty fluff challenge place a black cashmere sweater on a delicate wash cycle 'cold wash and include three tissues

Just re dye it, or hang it up and spray over with black fake hair, or flat black paint.

Old car detailer's trick, old worn discoloured car floor mats get spray painted.

OR re wash it, but put a fine filter over the pumping out hose, going back into the machine, running the whole time, filtering out more fluff than the filter supplied in the machine. The arm of a windcheater works well as a big filter.

A Zippo lighter seems to alleviate
the problem for me.

Does just being a fluffy person count?

I would not recommend this method for "belly button" fluff however.. spock

For that I usually use a corkscrew.

If stylish fools can get around with brand new mis-fitting clothes with holes and rips and patches and rediculous styles, then you should be able to get away with a bit of tissue highlights.

Tell people you were moving so slow that someone thought you were a tree, and TP'd you.

Perhaps the solution is not to try to get rid of the offending fluff but to accept it and offer it friendship.
Try naming each one and introduce them to people who tend to stare.
Try not to be offended if they leave you for an adventure of their own.
