Topic: Running of the nudes ....

A protest to running of the bulls ... I think it is a great idea and we should all meet in Spain to run naked and support the activists . Save the bulls from cruelty and death . .... It is a poor test of manhood if that is the purpose . I don’t understand why this bloody tradition.is allowed to continue ????

It's just treated like an entertaining sport to them and Matadors are held in high regard. Not my cup of tea and seeing the poor thing suffer for their entertainment is out of order to me!

Read Blondey's post I did and I've been to Spain numerous times and if she wants to run naked in Pamplona, etc, she runs a real chance of being jailed, trust me! The Spanish Police won't tolerate it!

You cite the running of the bulls; however, if I am not mistaken, the bull fighting is where the actual maiming and killing of the bulls takes place...in that regard, bull fighting takes place in Spain, Portugal, parts of southern France, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru and Argentina. PETA and other world organizations have been protesting bull fighting for a number of years. if the nude participation is part of an overall protest against bullfighting, go for it.

Blondey, did you think this through? yes cat ... it’s not quite as nude as it used to be .. now underwear is worn lol . It has grown from 25 activists to thousands ., mostly women .

Not my cup of tea and seeing the poor thing suffer for their entertainment is out of order to me! change is slow ., at least one town has stoped holding the festival and is using the subsidy for books and education .

Protest and even in nude can only heat up the custom and popularity. The best way to deal with it is to not watching it and not even mentioning about it. Once the show isn't profitable, it will be stoped permanently.

I believe the running of the nudes protest is run by PETA protesting the bull run and bull fighting . I think it is a clever protest :-)

Once the show isn't profitable, it will be stoped permanently. It is a very old tradition Charles and one that is subsidised ???? By the EU . That money can be better spent elsewhere . The protest has grown in size since it first started and gets much media attention . I understand what you are saying but I think what the orotests will help bring about change .
