I don't know who these women are that you think expect something from you beyond attention. You're doing it wrong.

You don't have to spend money on her. When I date a man, I won't let him pay for everything. I'm independent and equal and won't be paying with my body. If you're dating women who act like you must buy their affection, you're not offering anything else to keep her coming back.

I'm dating a man who treats me every day like he can't wait to see me. This may be in person, or phoning me because he wanted to hear my voice. He's interesting; we laugh together and have stimulating conversation on a huge variety of subjects. Shows he cares by cooking for me and bringing me $5 bouquets or a chocolate bar. I also give him small things just because I want to and to show I appreciate him. From day one, he has asked me questions to get to know me on a level possibly no one ever has. I feel lucky to have found him. We're in our 60s and having the most mind blowing sex I've had in my life.

It could be anything. It could be the way they were raised, how they view themselves, etc. I have to disagree with most women. Maybe most women you've met because "most" women that I know, don't have this attitude. Then again, you gotta realize many men expect sex if they've taken them out on a fancy dinner.
