Overcoming my annoyance with the Kobo piece of chit. Bought a book via them as I cannot pay on Amazon with my options. Then had to install Kobo, took me forever to find the right version and getting it to work. Finally my book. Pages grey, small and one next to the other. Effing unreadable!
Not to worry, I wanted to convert it anyways so I could use Kindle, which is great.
Install Calibre for the conversion...
But then... Kobo doesn't give you the file on your PC? So you pay, buy, yet don't have it? WTF?
Took me another 15 mins to get that sorted. Now it's on my PC Kindle, properly readable with white pages, page for page.
Kobo sux for sure! Such things P me O!!

Tired but good, it was a long physically demanding day today at work. I'm also grateful the birds woke me up this morning so I could still make it to work on time, I forgot to set my alarm last night, haha. Despite only having ten minutes to get ready, no coffee until after I got to work, and only one cigarette, I did pretty good... No one ended up getting punched. bigsmile

In pain. I have an iv in and the crap they put in me has literally set my veins on fire. I think it was magnesium. Just anything ...ANYTHING to take my mind off it.

Can you tell me what you think of this video I caught at a gig in Glasgow, just over three years ago? I never saw anything at the time, only when I played it back the next day did I notice something strange at 1.37 minutes into the video. Thanks:thumbsup::sunglasses:

Just watched the video and 2 points. What was mentioned as orbs flying around were I would say just bugs flying around since bugs fly that fast, but that one thing at the 1:38 mark of the video I cannot explain. Looks like a piece of string that floated from the back of the room to the front. It definitely was strange. I would loved to have been there to check it out. Thanks for sharing.

All I found out was the basement that the gig was in was also used as a temporary Morgue, during WW2, when the Germans were bombing Glasgow and dead bodies were stored in there. Aye I saw those wee orbs, but whatever that was at the 1.38 mark, went right between me and my cousin and disappears at the stage. Thanks for watching it though!:sunglasses:

That's interesting. The history of the place could be an explanation for what that thing was. If it was a Morque it is not out of the possibility it could be an entity that was bothered by the crowd and the noise that could be messing with the quiet it was accustomed to.

You could be right about that one though! If you ever visit Scotland, go to the Niddrie St vaults, in Edinburgh, if you can? Spookiest place I've ever been in my life and it takes a lot to unnerve me, but that place is weird though and just downright creepy!:sunglasses:

I will keep that in mind. I'm always out for going somewhere that is spooky. I may have relatives in Scotland since my son followed our family tree on my mother's side back to a King in Scotland back in the 1400's and would love to check it out someday.
