It's have been 15th or 16th day ( i don't remember lol :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:) of lockdown due to Coronavirus or Covid-19 for short. But i gotta go to work as usual. Only receiving the holiday on the first week since the outbreak. Wakes up at 6:30 am and got go to work at 7:00 am.

Usually at this morning, most of my neighbours will greet at me. But this time it doesn't. I started to miss hanging out at park on every evening after got home from work. While at night, i love to wondering off to the city and catch a beautiful lights of the building.

All the smiley face that i've seen is now gone. Replaced by covering up using a face mask. :pensive:

I miss the old things. Let us all pray that this pandemic gonna end soon.

Cheers,
Danny

Hi Danny. Day 11 here for us in New Zealand. I miss people too. I am not an essential worker, so I am not working. Thank goodness we have the internet :sunflower:

This will be second weekend in lockdown for us .
I’m from a small but busy seaside town .
The last couple of weeks it’s been really warm weather ,and the beach would normally have had many visitors on days like that . It’s very weird seeing it so quiet just dog walkers and people taking a walk now .
Even when I walk along their at night , it’s all usually lit up with the bars and pubs and restaurants and hear the noises from people ,but now nothing , of course .
Seeing the town so empty in the days all the shops shut , it’s so very sad .
It’s good to see other people in general at the supermarket but I miss the interaction .
Usually In my town I would stop and speak with strangers or people I know and now it all feels so eerie .
Not hearing the sound of cars in the roads is very weird , everything , everywhere is just so quiet . But then that does mean people are listening to the government .
Some days I’m not even sure what actual day it is .
But I haven’t seen my family in almost two weeks and that’s really hard , especially being apart from some of my children .
It’s a very sad and sorry thing that is happening :pensive:

My life really hasn't changed -I'm reclusive normally.... except that I will be eating only chicken nuggets and taquitos for a week or so -with various salsas as dip.

Nothing much has changed for me, except that it's still difficult to find toilet paper .

I just read that "as toilet paper flies off the shelves, bidet sales are going boom-boom".

I'm really liking this "social distancing" thing.

When I was 17 I was the victim of a T bone crash. I was in bed in the hospital for 5 months; in traction for 3 1/2 months and a body cast for 1 1/2.
My senior class was getting ready to graduate and I was trying to graduate from the hospital.
I've spent a total of 9 months in hospitals almost all in bed.......so this, this is nothing.

Wow now that is what ya call hardship.. we have it easy at least we can get up and do things..

So this is gravy to you right now.. Honestly my schedule has not changed that much... I'm still working which makes the days go by...

I'm kind of loving it my son is living with me and he gets bored really easy.. So I have been getting all kinds of repairs done.. New lean-to, new rails on my front porch steps all out of material he already had. And he has his own welder .. Best part my son and his gf cooks she is staying with us too.. So I'm kind of liking it.. lol

Nothing really changed for me except now I have to go shopping 5 times instead once in order to get everything needed, which is kind of counterproductive to what actually is intended.
One time there are no eggs , then there is no lettuce, then there are no tomatoes, other times there are hardly any meat/poultry/fish products. Then there is no pasta/rice etc. So in order to put a simple meal together you have to go shopping several times throughout the week.
Small town, we only really have two grocery stores, so always have to check both of them.

Now they only let you take one item each category, and since I also have to go shopping for my parents who don't really want to go outside at all, so then I have to do this all over again... slaphead

Today I saw the first few rolls of toilet paper again after 3 weeks.whoa
