Over the years, the US as been a puritanical country with outlandish moral expectations. These expectations still remain in some parts of the country although some are becoming less strict. If there were no social repercussions, I think most men would prefer legal and regulated prostitution be available. I also believe that many men have had a belief that marriage entitles them to a regular supply of sex. The male/female dynamic as it relates to sex is changing and will continue to change in the future. In many ways sex has become more open and casual.

To be honest, I'd have much more respect for them if some of the unsuitably young women who contact me if they said "Hi, I'm a woman of negotiable virtue. Interested?". I wouldn't be, it just seems wrong to just be interested in sex with a woman but I'd at least say "Thanks for the offer but no thanks". Of course, a lot of them just seem to be scammers with no intention of actually delivering on their promises but it's a funny old world at the best of times .
