---|---|
Step right up...
Ask a question... Any question... Ya never know, someone in this community might have the answer, ya never know... Can be a simple as "Do bright red shoes go with really long black hair?" or as complex as "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?" You might get a multitude of answers or you might get none at all. The answer might be a single phrase or a complex series of paragraphs. The answer might be a picture or a link to a video or website. |

Is there a reason we don't spell words phonetically?
Seriously, what is the purpose of silent letters? |

The basic rule of thumb is i before e except after c Not the way I spell. I spell rel gud. OT: Partly sunny or partly cloudy. Which is it? I know! Its like when they say there's a 50% chance of rain. Might rain/might not... OT: What are good reasons for living with the shades pulled down all day? |

My question is....If snakes and other things she'd their skins, why can't we? It would be nice to get rid of some wrinkles.

Technically, we do shed our skin.
Humans do shed dead skin, but most of it is carried away by water when we shave or bathe, ending up not on our floors but in our sewers.~ Live Science OT: Has anyone ever ordered seeds from a catalog? Was it flowers or veggies? Did they grow as well as you expected? |

What is the best fast food meal you can get? What makes it the best? Popeyes Spicy Chicken sandwich. I had to try it to see what all the hub bub on the news was about. Delicious bun, crunchy spicy chicken, spicy sauce, pickles...oh my! It must have crack in it, it’s really addicting lol. Why can’t they just spell xylophone zylophone and be done with it? |

Does an eggplant lay eggs? hmmmm It depends. Which came first, the chicken, the eggplant or the egg? . I would say the chicken because the chicken is already in the egg. The eggplant is just along for the ride. Voting is now in progress and the side with the most votes wins a prize. |

Is there a cost effective method of cultivating biofuel algae in storm water ponds? The ponds could be scaled and designed such that they drain largely by infiltration rather than out flow. Limiting nutrients like iron from rusted scrap metal could be used to supplement the pollutant nutrients required to be removed by the BMPs. Flocculant natural chemical processes could be used to sequester the algae in the top or bottom of the ponds, where they could be skimmed by mechanical device or dredged in due course of sediment removal for suspended solids storm water treatment requirements, and in situ or what ever way works - produce biofuel with the most bang for the buck.
Storm water pond design and maintenance easement are produced commercially by us and if anyone has any dreams or ideas we will make them happen if we can. Benefit from the work will be recognized in any way feasible. |

Yea I got one that I never got straight. the ie thing. Is there a simple way to remember which way around they go in various words. either. neither niether. I'm bugge**d if I know I was trained with a rhyme. Unfortunately, everyone but me already knew the rhyme, so the teachers always had the whole class say it together, and if you've ever heard thirty school children say ANYTHING out loud at the same time, you also know what distant thunder sounds like. So as far as I know, the rhyme for I and E goes: "I before e, except ....sometimes." Minor "fun" note: the reason why i and e come at different times for different words, is because we English descendants either stole, or had foisted on us, words from all kinds of other languages. So spelling confusion is just one more reason to resent imperialism, in a way. |

It might but its still a depleting carbon burning fuel.
Yes and the egg always comes first because mutation forms in the egg. The eggplant aka coop requires both chickens and eggs to be effective. |
