So I had a great relationship with a fun girl
until she was entangled & zapped by a whacky religion(aka"Spooks In The Sky Swindle). I watched as the tenacles slowly wrapped her up in a shroud of gullibility. No more smoking;no more drinking,etc. "Where you going?What time will you be back." I replied,"You know Jesus said not to worry about where he was going or when he'd be back. He said to just keep the faith and be ready." That turned out to be the final scene in the relationship. You have to get away before they start passing out the Kool-Aid.

I always get nervous when see something that starts as a religion and slowly becomes a cult. That's why I thought of that Jim Jones thing. It started in US. They moved to Guyana. They formed a town. That was in the 70's and it did not go well. Look it up on the internet.

The two are incompatible. So, their break-up makes sense. I suspect that she will end up with another guy who is better suited for her. |

Humans kill, and blame it on any number of things, including religion. The things that can kill a relationship are too numrous to name, but boil down to incompatibility.
