No, silly. laugh

I mean, are you emotionally available?

I'd suspect, many on the site are single.
Some, are even looking. But, are you
emotionally available, and ready, for
all the changes a new relationship will
bring into your life?

How does one know? Is there an online test somewhere? I personally feel I should not get into another relationship for one year after my husband passed. That will be on March 3.
Is that strange?
I might go read up about what is normal?
Good question RockGnome. :rose::sunflower:

There might be an online test.
Who knows? There's an online test, for everything
else under the sun.

But, I think the answers come from within.
Introspection, soul searching.

One of those women's magazines would have made a test for that for sure;

"Is your husband emotionally available, make him do this quiz and find out".

Next to "Do you eat enough fibre, here's ten cardboard recipes".

And "How to fill your acne pock holes".

I'm a man, I don't have emotions to make "available", my eyes just leak sometimes, it's a medical thing.

Yes. I am available as long as the relationship provides what I desire. Moreover any relationship has to benefit both the players, else the bond dies even before you realise it.

i'd love to clench my fists,
beat on my chest, give the Tarzan jungle yell,
and shout for the world to hear, '
Hell yeah! I'm ready'.

But,
I can't.
And, maybe never will be
.
Someday, maybe.
Just not today.

I mean, are you emotionally available?

To some, yes, to others, no.
I don't believe it's either available or unavailable.

are you
emotionally available, and ready, for

bring into your life?

Relationships aren't one size fits all, or all follow the same path.
Just depends on the change.

Not only that, but a relationship means there are two people working together to handle the changes that "relationship" brings.

It's not just you doing it by yourself for them or "the relationship."

There's a reason and purpose for communication in a relationship.

Who the other person is has some part in being available to them but the required conditions of the "relationship" are the biggest factor.
