Eric, I believe that of all the regular ones who answered we're the only ones who say to be ready :)
It was a great question, and interesting to see that people on a dating-site, many looking, aren't ready or under conditions only, which equals not being ready.

Can you not afford clothes?

Available.. Emotionally.. it has taken a while , but yes. After being widowed.. my heart and mind, said oh no, never again.. But somehow thru the storm of it all, I feel I have come out, shook off the darkness, and looking forward to experience life anew.

Friends telling you to move on, (haha) even my own mother (another haha). But I let no one tell me when I should be ready.. as others can think to know how it feels, but they cannot know me to that depth.

When you experience grief or any emotional wounding, every person has their own pace of dealing with it. There is no set rule, about how long your heart mourns, or your brain keeps pulling up the past to assault your senses over & over. Everyone's experience is their own.
