How do you respond to the overwhelming messages from being on the forums? At times, I want to delete my profile. And you?

I don't get a lot of messages, unless I don't block them quickly enough, mostly non-genuine 25year olds who don't look like they would struggle to find a date.

I delete them. The only thing that annoys me is the Mingle popup because I use AdBlock. It makes it difficult to keep my inbox clean, and that I do not like. Other than that... a dating/relationship coach said the best way to deal with messages is to be grateful for them and the attention, even if from the wrong person. If you find it a problem to receive many message then set up your filters differently.

I just try not to get too cynical. But I dont get loads anyway. And they are usually ok or interesting people. The scammy ones don't count. Age filters help. Just don't let it go to your head LW

I don't open messages anymore. If it isn't from someone in the forums, not interested. I'm currently in a relationship with a woman so I am not longer looking. My speeddial is set to the forums, I hardly ever go on the profile side.

It probably stemmed from that, but we have a reality show called my title. 'Celebrities' are dropped off to spend time on an island, without their comforts.

Aside from my forum friends (and forum mods and admins hahaha), I get very few messages. I have my mail filters set to my age group and not a lot of men in my age group are on this site..... or alive lol OT: I reply to all messages even just to say "thank you for your email. Have a nice day"
