What are your predictions for the year 2020?
Are you following other predictions for 2020 made years ago? Back in the 60's & 70's I thought we would have flying cars by 2020. I also thought doctors would no longer be needed by now. I figured we would at least have a Lunar station and vacations on the Moon. Current prediction - Trump will lose. |

Up through the 1990s, flying cars were predicted
by 2020. Science & engineering magazines even showed the "bold research" being conducted at the UC Davis campus. For 2020, I predict plagues and locusts. Oh... Famine too. |

Current prediction - Trump will lose. first I am going to laugh my *ss off ... wow... you sure go for some extreme high expectations ... but there all good ... and would have be nice if ... well we have now electric cars ... not fond of  know more doctors ... well that is naive to think ... do you really believe our government would let that happens ... not here ... but you can talk to a doctor on line ... you can get some meds off line ... but they do not recommend it ... their not far from trips in the universe ... working on testing it now ... an others trying to get more dangerous machines in space to fight wars with ... u know how much we need that... not! and your Current prediction - Trump will lose. sorry to say... if he keeps the electoral votes like before ... he will win again ... which they should abolishes the electoral votes ... but they won't... so bad news for America ...  but like your prediction more... Trump will lose... |

There will be an election. People will continue to scapegoat illegal immigrants and poor people who receive assistance for our problems. People will continue to stand up to and fight against bigotry. People will continue to seek their fifteen minutes by creating 'movements' and finding offense in the slightest of things to generate 'trends'. People will continue to be socially bullied into accepting 'modern' values and standards.
There may be an event that brings muslims back on to the scapegoating stage. Medical science will continue to mess with nature some more. The push towards monolithic humans who are all 'the same' will continue. Adjectives and pronouns will be more and more scandalous. Also, people will continue to love who they love, sleep with who they sleep with, hate who they hate, and believe everyone else has the job of coddling them and making them 'comfortable' ... or else. ..life will go on and the world will keep spinning. |

Humm it was predicted we would have phones you could see each other while talking~~ We do have that with facetime....
It was predicted we would be able to come in and tell our house to do things such as turn on the lights ect.. With Alexa we have those features... As far a the Dr's go we do have apps now you can talk to your Dr over the phone with facetime and they can diagnose symptoms without you going in.. 2020 will be the turning point for climate change. The election will determine whether we continue the denial or change course and pump the brakes if it's not too late.
Politicians come and go but climate change won't . Water supply,crops,weather,ecosystems all affected worldwide. I really hope I'm wrong on this a year from now. |

I predict people will still have ego driven leaders in power over them and there will be many more mature and revolutions.
People are very unsatisfied with the injustices they see in their countries. Because so much of the earth is burning, it will wake people up to climate change. Generally when it hits their backyard, like my neighbours...Australia. |
