People say he "isn't presidential enough." But yet, all of the "presidential" presidents for at least the past 30 years have been totally selling us out. This one seems to like us a lot more (notwithstanding the propaganda we are constantly bombarded with, trying to make him look the the devil incarnate). Whether anybody else would have handled COVID any better, when he was trying in January to remedy the situation, he got called a racist for it. Now they are claiming he didn't go far enough. Are you just going by what Trump tells you or do you actually fact check? If you are claiming Biden called him xenophobic or racist because of the China travel bans, that is inaccurate. You are correct that he never said that BECAUSE of the travel ban, but to say he never said it at all - is disingenuous. You’re right, he was probably referring to when Trump smeared the Mexicans, or banned travel from muslim-majority countries, or banned asylum seekers at the border, or referred to other countries as **** holes, etc., Which part are you agreeing to? |

By stating the goings on, on the border? He said "When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." Perhaps you don't want to believe that, that's what's happening. Do you think if we look the other way the human trafficking doesn't happen, or is it more important to not call the human smugglers rapists, than protect to women. We can just not identify rapists if they are a different nationality if that works for you? Muslim Ban? Do you mean the seven countries previously identified by the Obama-Biden administration as being vulnerable to terrorism or do you mean the predominately Muslim countries of North Korea or Venezuela? Ban on asylum seekers? Do you mean the economic migrants? If one were leaving their country to escape REAL persecution, you'd think any place be better than the place they left. There's no reason they wouldn't seek asylum in the first safe country - unless you want to circumvent immigration policies. As far as I know - nobody is crossing the Atlantic, Pacific or Arctic Ocean in a boat to Canada, and Mexico is a safe country...I was there last December. It's not fair to the people that are waiting in line the long, but legal way and it's not fair to the people to usher in unvetted people en masse. Sh!thole countries?? Let's face it... there ARE sh1thole countries for one reason or another. There are places people don't want to live or even visit because of that reason. He's calling a spade a spade - and you may disagree with something subjective like that, but to say all countries are great, or there are no terrible ones is a misrepresentation of reality. |

While you guys were sleeping .... 3 am US Time: Associated Press declares Joe Biden leading with 244 Electoral Votes and Trump trailing behind with 109, or so. 3:30 am US Time: AP reports that Biden has 224 EVs to Trump's 213. Meanwhile - AP's state-wise breakdown shows Trump leading in 5 key states: Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Texas - with double digit percentage points -- Ballot counting / turnout 70% in these states 4:00 am - Ballot counting is halted. ( It gets perplexing here.) After going through AP's state-wise breakdown Trump emerges as clear winner Trump 285 EVs Although counting in few states like Alaska had not started - these sum to 7 EVs Even if these 7 were split with 4 to Biden; Trump leads to close with 288 EVs and Biden, 248. But AP website continues to display Biden winning in key states like Penn --xx 4:10 am Trump calls a meeting and announces halt in ballot counting. Just now Biden had more EV again, Trump only 1 extra. His chances of winning are decreasing as we speak it seems. I doubt it is even possible anymore for him to get the required EVs...

Thanks for your input. 3 pm US time, AP updates: Biden 248, Trump 214 My figures were: Biden 248, Trump 288 As you can see, 74 EVs (in states favoring Trump) are yet to be declared Reason - is a hot story now leading to the SC. Also note AP's disclaimer that they have not called this race. From AP website.. Only when AP is fully confident a race has been won – defined most simply as the moment a trailing candidate no longer has a path to victory – will we make a call. So time will tell. |

Yes...Biden won Wisconsin now...I think Nevada, Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania will go Biden...giving him a huge win. Trump will probably get North Carolina and Georgia, but his chances are slim. He's lawyered up, but I don't think his chance of success is great. Too bad he's a one-and-done President...he had a chance at greatness, at bringing our country together, at making government "for the people"...instead, he blew it...he squandered his destiny on greed and power...what a loser !!!

Crystal, I'm sorry but in this tormenting period - Elections - best we wait. After all US has institutional level checks and balances.
As a Trumpee I ask myself what if Biden wins. It cannot be as bad as China unleashing Covid (I hope) We have a joint naval exercise scheduled with the US navy, Australia and Japan May be called off I guess. |

2:22 am US time - Nevada is hot!! When you guys turned out the lights last night Biden was at 264 and Trump 214 And 4 states remained - where race had not been called. While you were sleeping - 2:22 am, UST PA - Trump leading by 2.8% GA - T leads by 0.4% NC - T leads by 2.1% Nevada - Biden leads by 0.6% From above 4, if Biden wins Nevada (6 EVs) he reaches 270 Else Trump, with 271 -- Love from China, hoping Biden wins -- Love from India, if Trump wins Love is a funny thing. |
