Thinking decisions decisions... both places have unofficially offered me a position. Both have pluses and minuses. One is basically like an institution environment and the other is a homey environment. With the negotiated wage, the institution would be more money right now, but the higher wage at the other place has more earning potential in the near future. The homey place has interaction with the residents and is a server position. The institution is a back of the house position doing primarily cleaning, setting up trays, and a whole lot of dishes. The institution has better opportunities for advancement, the homey place possibly will in the future. At my age, I just want stability, lol.
Me thinks I'll go with my gut instincts and accept the offer at the homey position. I have enough dishes to do at home. |

This sounds good for you! |

This sounds good for you! Thanks. Yes, I don't think I'd be happy working in the back of the house. It does have more potential as far as training, but mostly for the direct care positions. |

Thinking I'm old school.... I'd sit down with pen and paper and list the pros and cons.... but wish you luck with whatever you decide

This sounds good for you! Dishes and cleaning all day...doesn't sound interesting at all. Thanks. Yes, I don't think I'd be happy working in the back of the house.
