Women do it aswell so why not ask that

Why? In my opinion it's because they are no longer in love with their partner.

I think in many cases it's low self-esteem and being / feeling flattered by the other woman.
Many -of not most- people are in relationship with someone to fill a void in themselves, in other words: to crank up their lack of self-esteem, self-confidence and so on and then call that 'love'.
When there's a time the other doesn't crank up their good feeling anymore, due to a baby, busy job, not being satisfied by their partner themselves, etc, etc. they become vulnerable to other, external sources of satisfaction.

What's with the knee-jerk reaction? It's not the question. It's not "the tit for tat show".

No I'm sick of everything been why do men do this and that end of the day no one is perfect but it seems everyone is too scared to say women are just as bad for the fear of been sexist and having all the backlash from that.

There are too many reasons to list and everyone has their own reasons.

Yeah but if you want to put a rule on it that fits everything its simple they don't know what they have until its gone or there is something missing in the relationship its really that simple lol

There's a million other reasons but the person who cheats clearly is looking for something else or doesn't understand what they have.

Hmm.. Or maybe they know what they've got and aren't happy with it, but are to scared of letting go.. Lots of reasons indeed, some not so noble..
