Have you tried approaching them, in the same way
you'd respectfully approach any other woman?

Well... Have you ever watched black people, how they speak, move, behave? Their social structure is different from ours. You can even tell when you watch 'black' tv series, like in the time "The Cosby Show".
So there may be indeed a vast difference in how you approach a white or black woman.

As such we cannot advice the OP, unless we know these differences.

Goodness lol well my dad actually my step dad is a man of color. And guess what he's just like every other man. There's not a big difference there. Not all people are like tv nor do they all speak alike or act alike. Some of these comments lol.

Ot just be yourself that's what's important

Errmm... I'm not basing wisdom and insight on tv series. Nevertheless they can still teach you a lot. The characters and stories are fiction but specific aspects of people will shine through.
Do you see a white Cosby Show? People behaving that exact way? Talking the same way, and so on?
Dunno why you have to react the way you do. Fact that there are differences isn't judgemental, it's fact.

Yes.

conclusion. more of a cultural difference. for those who question the approach. I hope you would have retracted that after reading as there are no slangs or broken English. lol. polished very much. I am from Jamaica but it's the misconception that we speak patois and that's or native tongue. lol. noooo. that's broken English... English being the operative word, we were under the English monarchy for many years.
that being said my approach is never that of street or country but always respect. mind you I cant speak for all jamaicans.

Actually it came out sounding somewhat racial not judgmental. And the white Cosby show is what we refer to as the Brady bunch. Either way I wasn't trying to argue just make a point.

Nope. I may have clear opinions, that doesn't make me a racist :)

Women are women. Yes there are some cultural, racial, and sexual similaritys. But they are all individuals, and should be treated that way. To write on an open forum asking for the secret to approaching Caucasian women is akin to walking into a club and yelling, "YO, WHERE DA WHITE WEMENS AT?".

Bring your silly side out. Humans love that Shiot.

Don't stand on tables making train noises, but you know the deal.

(So, I went a little too far)

It was 400 years ago, they didn't have trains yet.

lol not into the "hood rats?" White Women who go to clubs, stores, places that are generally set up for African Americans...

If you want a decent white woman then go to church. Plenty of single white women who white men don't seem to hit it off well or not interested in. And some white women just aren't into white men. But churches are full of them.

While I agree with being yourself... You seem a lil tense and or just shy... being black you'd come across suave but to really get their interest? Charm... this need to be ourselves is open and honest being nervous especially when black can really play out either way for any race... but if you're tense you're not yourself you're not being "honest" and it'll leave them guessing as to who you are? You can be nice infact it's recommended usually... The villiage punk gets a lot of girls cause he's not afraid to admit he's a jerk...

Good luck Shawn. Just be yourself and use your instincts.
If you feel that someone is prejudiced, they probably are and don't deserve you.

For women of all colors, to try and take it out of the friend zone, put out some feelers in a respectful way.

If they r into you, they will respond accordingly. If they aren't, you could probably pick up on that too if you're receptive. Then trust your instincts and move on to someone that responds to you with interest.

Good luck
