Why Do People Hate America?
This book was published 2002 by Icon Books: The foreign policy of the US government, backed by its military strength, has unprecedented global influence now that the USA is the world’s only superpower – its first ‘hyperpower’. Many people do hate America, in the Middle East and the developing countries as well as in Europe. Then Thomas C. published, 2015 an article: 10 countries that hate the U.S. the most. He said: In 2014, with the George W. Bush presidency, a majority of residents in 15 of 135 countries did not approve of the U.S. leadership. Now Canadians think Donald Trump is bad. Do you think the countries that hate the U.S. will increase or not? |

I think that the more important thing to understand, is that people really don't "hate" countries. Not in a really functional way. What I mean is, that there's actual hate, which is an emotional reaction to someone or something, and then there is something that gets CALLED "hate," but which is actually closer to being a crafted, purposeful assault of sorts. It's the difference between FEELING hatred for someone or something because of something that happened because of that person or thing, and DECIDING to make a show of your ANGER about or at someone or something. No one can "hate" and entire country in the real reactive emotional way, because in the sense that people feel actual hate, countries don't exist. That is, a country is an IDEA of a collection of people in a given place. Unless you look at a drawing (a map) telling you what the shape of the boundaries are, or unless the government of the country actually draws a physical line all the way around it and makes all their citizens wear the same color clothing or whatever, you wont be able to tell you're looking at a whole COUNTRY. And no one who says they DO hate a whole country, really mean they hate those drawings and lines and so on. What they are angry about, is certain behaviors by certain people who they have personally decided REPRESENT the ENTIRE country. The reason why it's important to see the difference with this, is that because it IS functionally impossible to "hate" a country, it's logically impossible to DO anything about someone who claims to "hate" and entire country. Especially since these people aren't just reacting to the US, they have consciously DECIDED to hate the US, as a country, in order to try to solve whatever problems they have with whoever upset them. The same thing is true for individuals who hate anyone or anything, in many cases. They don't REALLY hate even entire single human beings; rather they are angry at someone for some specific reason, but decide to make up an entire conceptual collection of antagonisms, as a sort of attack or PUNISHMENT of that person. And that's my main point. Hate isn't something that happens on its own, it's a chosen ACTION that people take. Often understandably, but nevertheless, until you recognize that people who hate are DECIDING to hate, rather than suffering from hate as a sort of affliction, you wont be able to address it successfully. |

I am British and although the USA has a tendency to impose financial stress upon other countries that step out of line, please give me a better option for preventing more nuclear weapons being produced. I like the American people and as yet I have not met one that I did not like. This country is like the Sheriff of the world and let us all be grateful for them. Always remember that life is not perfect and no country is.

Hummm first of all one can not Speak for all in a book they are only giving their perspective of what they think.. Sure there are some that hate the USA but just cause it was wrote and published does not mean it is true..
The way I see it if they don't like the USA then stay out of it or go back to where they came from... Myself I have never heard anyone that said they Hated the USA that lives here... Myself I don't hate any Country I may not agree with the way they think or what they do... but in reality it is not the Country it is certain people within the Countries that cause others not to want to go there... |

Why do people hate America?..I don't know why do they..you claimed they did..so what's the answer..I mean surely if you know they hate us ..then you should know why..so why is it..why ask us.. Canadians think Donald Trump is bad..are we speaking about all Canadians..are you their spokesman..I personally will speak for myself when I say I think Trudeau is an idiot..Do I think that the number of countries that hate America will increase..personally "who cares"..when they say the majority of residents..did they take a poll and everyone replied..doubtful..because let's face it they never ask everyone..and if they did..doubtful everyone replied..so their numbers could be off..eh.. 15 of 135 countries..don't like us..that's like what a little over 10%..not bad..But how could they have possibly asked ALL those people in 135 countries..truth is they didn't..I don't put much faith in polls..I mean after all the polls said Trump would lose in 2016..see what I mean.. |

I would say invading 9 Islamic countries and murdering 11 million Muslims in the last 23 years might have something to do with it..

please give me a better option for preventing more nuclear weapons being produced. The better option is TREATYs, like The New START Treaty, signed by presidents Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev in April 2010, which was an important achievement. New START commits both countries to substantial reductions in their nuclear arsenals. Moreover, the New START treaty furthers Obama's goal of "resetting" U.S.-Russia relations. I am Iraqi, like the USA, but really I don't like the governments of Saudi Arabia and Israel. I think that the United States as a great country have to be fair in its policies towards other countries. America has always sided with Israel. With the knowledge that US can impose a two-state solution and end the conflict in the region. America helped Saudi Arabia in its war against the weakest people and country, Yemen. Why don't US seek sanctions against Israel and Saudi Arabia? American officials admitted that it was America that created ISIS. You all know them terrorists who killed Muslims and Christians. |

The WASHINGTONPOST wrote:
But if the president (Trump) really wants peace and stability, he should make a deal with Iran a lot like the one that President Barack Obama negotiated and that Trump was so quick to abandon upon taking office. That agreement was designed to forestall exactly the kind of confrontation the United States and Iran find themselves in now. |

America is a self proclaimed leader of the world. When it comes to sophisticated warfare or technology it is the best in world. But America is also a specialist in researching on how to kill more and more people everyday. Everyone should hate America including Americans themselves.

GREATEST COUNTRIES IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD: Italy. Ancient Rome created what we now call “Western society”. United Kingdom. The British Empire stretched over one-quarter of the Earth’s surface and encompassed a third of its population. Iran (formerly Persia) has been inhabited by human beings since pre-historic times, centuries before the earliest civilizations arose in nearby Mesopotamia. Russia has shown a remarkable capacity to survive - from holding off the Ottoman Turks to defeating both Napoleon and Hitler. And while the U.S.S.R. was ultimately an ideological and economic failure, it certainly had the world's attention while it lasted.
The U.S. is the wealthiest, most powerful and most influential country in the history of the world. The Roman and Egyptian empires each survived for more than 500 years; will the United States have the same staying power? USA will stay power if political leaders hear what God said: In Bible: The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. In Quraan; And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]. |
