I just recieved a phone call from a friend. His 20 year old son died of an overdose last night. They want me to sing at the funeral. I would do anything in the world for theses people!!!! I just need some strength to get through it. Please say a prayer for me-even more-say a prayer that this family finds the strength to get through this horrible ordeal.

Put yourself in your friend's place and think about how much it will mean to him and his family to have you there in this time of need.
It says a lot about how much they value your friendship, and that is never something to be taken lightly. I believe you will manage just fine....

Moral support is a good thing especially in times of tragedy. Great to know one has friends to turn to and glad you could be there for your friend. You can find friends in here and I hope you do well in your singing there. Hope you can feel the comfort and support of friends in the forum.
