Most flights have internet now where you maybe limited to what you can access but they have games you can play.. Tv's to watch...take a book... or enjoy a good nap.. listen to music with the ear buds they give you...

He needs to get up and stretch the legs every half hour ideally.
Keep hydrated. And don't let him breathe recirculated airplane air ;-) |

Get an exit row seat if possible, more leg room. Loose, comfortable clothes, get up and walk the aisles. No alcohol, dehydrates & drink plenty of water. Have plenty of games for his cell phone.

Find out a head of time if the plane has outlets to charge his phone. If you pick an exit seat, they sometimes don't. If not then get a battery pack so he can charge his phone, a double one is better as it gives two full charges.
Also have him take a few snacks with him. Eating in the airports can deplete your money quickly if you're not careful. |

Go to youtube and watch Mayday: Air Crash Investigation.
There are many full episodes available. I haven't flown since September 11th, 2001. Not because I am afraid of flying but because I refuse to tolerate the paranoia involved. When someone I know is flying, I always watch Mayday: Air Crash Investigations on youtube. |

when going down south, take a sleeping pill on the last flight and sleep the trip away and wake up ready to play when you land.

I remember one time flying to Idaho and the plane was mostly empty. I had my legs all across the seats and the flight attendant didn't say anything, until we were landing.

I travel to NZ,Australia and Hongkong quite often. Tip 1: Own a goodI pod ot such, d/l several movies and havbe one you have seen many times. AS it gets later, start playing your fav and close your eyes...gone
tip 2 fly 1 airline only and get their Credit card: Card I have now gives mr 6x credit when I fly. tip3 Busy flight offering credit to give up seat, do not take an airline dredit, insist in a gift cardALsokedep and ryr on things, highest bumpfee I got was 900. You are also a ptiority on next flight to festinaltion. Know how to ask fro an upgrade, be polite and ask early, Normallyeach plane carries 4 flight attendents. I will often go out and get 4 gift catfd for a chain resturant. Not asking for anything give each attendant a card as you board and say it is a gift for the great flight your about to have. You have their attention, if there ids an upgrade available, you are on the list |
