I was trying to stay out of this one, but when do I ever? funches, Walker explained why he was referring to you as a monkey. That comment was directly related to his perception of the mentality of your view point, NOT your race, i.e. thinking with monkey brain which is a common term in psychology. Okay, the banana took it a little farther, but you equaled with your own banana comments along with flying to the racist assumption and either did not read far enough to realize where Walker was coming from and shot back with the gay innuendo's regarding the banana after your comments regarding a woman didn't get the play.

Now that I've Howard Coselled (sorry for the spelling of your last name Howard) this moment, I would request Walker, you and funches work this out, you both have mentalities and characters far above this.

Honestly? I cannot justify the behavior of either of you on this one. I can recognize racist comments and actions, funches, to the point of being run off roads, disowned by family, and having it supposedly hidden by humor and breaking the ice for peoples comfort levels, among other weak excuses. So yeah, when he first posted the monkey comment, I was pretty surprised. About the time I was getting ready to email him about it he explained, which is why I decided to stay out of it at that point. His last comment took it even farther, which is why I addressed my request to Walker and not you.

I do not attack the physical attribute of the person, but his/her attitude or behavior.

The "monkey brain" comment. The banana was something for you to chew on and occupy your "monkey brain" rather than picking apart his religion. I did not previously answer your banana question because I thought I had covered it the first time around. I agree it went farther than was necessary. I have seen you go farther than necessary too in this same thread. I would prefer that people be allowed to say what they think. Unfortunately, the English language can be taken several different ways and the perception of the reader most definitely comes into play as well as the intent of the poster.
