Today was a real good, summery hot day! --> Some 29C, even here close to the coast, inland it was way warmer.

Yes. It's supposed to get better again tomorrow, warmer (23C) but later in the afternoon also rain :( I'm supposed to go out tomorrow for lunch, we'd planned to sit outdoors. We may just get away with it, hihi. A shame the weather where you are has dipped so much! Kind of as usual isn't it? A few nice days, then a few weeks of crap weather again. |

I'm actually thinking about putting the heating on! I think (over here) we haven't had a decent, stable ongoing summer since 2013. That was my first summer in this house with a garden, that's how I remember. When I say that, people always get argumentative, hihi, saying I'm nuts, "Have I forgotten about the wonderful days we had in X (month)" But to me summer is ongoing nice weather, not 1 - 7 nice days, then a few weeks of chit weather, 2 days of nice weather and back to rain and wind again. Then they say "But last year (2018) we had a great summer!" Really? Weeks of stinking hot weather, heatwave upon heatwave during which you could barely go out, plants and trees dying of drought... Not my idea of a good summer, haha. But who knows, it could still come... And yes, the heating... I've only had a few days so far where I haven't had it on either during the day or in the evening. |
