I know Crystal....me too! The car was like a sauna and temp here is now sitting at 23C. Wonderful isn't it? Amazing how the sun can lift your spirits 
Absolutely! I'm very sensitive to light or lack thereof. And I guess most people are as everyone's happy when the sun is shining :) Enjoy it, Delightful! Quite amazing btw that Scotland is that warm too now? You are quite a bit higher up than we are. Even northern part of England, Yorkshire area, is usually a tad colder than over here. I'm more at London/Southminster level. |

Really nice temps! Sat outdoors all afternoon when visiting someone, stinking hot, hihi. But let's enjoy it! Was told that next weekend is going to be bad again :( Just when we have King's Day.

I didn't know storms were named over here. I'm gonna look that up :) And yes, noticeably colder. We got rain here too this afternoon  Crying shame with King's Day upcoming. There's always lots of outdoor activities, most of them, so that's going to ruin things...

Yeah, we name our storms alphabetically starting with A in January. Rain is about to arrive here as it's very dark with black clouds. What a shame the weather isn't gonna hold for you on King's day hopefully it won't be as bad as predicted 
Right, didn't know about the naming, well, not over here then. I just looked it up. Look like the center of the storm will move over Ireland, then England, then continue on to us. Great. So you'll get it too, but from what I've seen, the center isn't moving over Scotland. Power outages? Pffff... Let's keep our fingers crossed it isn't going to be too bad! We won't easily get power outages, unless the big thingies get affected, as all electricity from these larger stations (is that what you call them?) run underground. Small country, no rocks/mountains, so then that's possible. |

Today -until just now at 4pm- it was gorgeous weather! In the sun some 21! In the shadow less pleasant.

Aw thanks Crystal. Just looked at the temp just now (3.12 pm) and it's gone down 1 degree  . I'm glad your weather is better than mine. Feels like winter here again!

From what I gather Scotland wasn't hit that badly, logical as the center of it was lower down, likely over Wales. So far here nothing. Sun is shining, there are lots of clouds in the distance, so I'm thinking it'll get worse later in the day. It is a bit windy, but at least ppl had a decent start of King's Day. Would've been a shame for all those people who've organised all these activities if they'd had to cancel everything. As usual the royal couple is out as well with their 3 daughters :) King's Day is always big over here! It's a national holiday so if it's on a weekday people have the day off. |

PS do hope things are fine where you are. I take it you could still get Bft 9-ish? I hate it when a storm is that strong.
Worst I've ever seen that I can remember is Bft 10. Wasn't pleasant. |
