first of all I want to say that I have included my comment in the second part of the question.
expressing that my opinion does not have a diplomatic/political character  , I briefly say:
"Women want good things ..." "Because they deserve the best of everything ..."

Well I suppose it all depends on which side of the bed she wakes up on..
That shouldn't matter, you can bring her a coffee on either side. That's what I usually want.
