Well I was basically myself. If there was chemistry I would just stick to being my humorous, caring self to get her to feel the same way I do.

Seriously it is. I treat her like I treat my friends... Listen to them, talk to them, and cheer them up when they are down. That lead to a very healthy 4 year relationship and a strong friendship once we parted ways.

I don't try to get a woman to fall in love with me. Either she is down with me or not. I obviously open doors for her and treat her with respect and the normal stuff but if you are asking if I do cartwheels and stuff to get her attention, then no.

Not to sound cocky or anything but with a few exceptions, I allowed the woman to make the first move when it came to dating. Then I know for sure she is interested and when I feel the time is right I make the first physical contact.

Some women out there do not like this and expect the man to be a "man" and make the first move but the woman I've dated in the past obviously didn't have a problem.

Yea, being yourself is cool, but did you do anything special for her. Like send flowers to her job, or take her out for dinner so she wouldn't have to cook, or hire a skywriter.

The one special thing I did was to get her to go out with me. We both worked at the same job so one night (valentines ) she was working and I was off. I got a dozen of blue tipped flowers (I forgot the name of them, something that starts with a C) and a while gold blue topaz necklace. Besides that one occasion it was my personality haha.

Ummm All of those things are me. Of course you do special things to make her smile. But first and foremost, she has to like ME FOR ME.

ummm I really haven't got the slightest clue. I'd say it is being a nice guy and sharing my heart with her, but that doesn't work too good...

Right. But, if you are the type that showers her with affection and the little things, she might like you even more.

I mean, you can't really get someone to fall in love with you. You can get them interested and what not, but love is a real deep connection. I honestly dont think you can force that on. It's either there or it's not.
