I'm a romantic guy, but can't seem to find a lady who likes romance. Like just cuddle on the couch & watch a movie.

The ones I find think romance is jus' a bedroom thing.

That's right alot of pinned up romance here. Jus' waitin' for some gal.

I fold my tent.. move on. Try to stay socially connected, simply because I know we are social animals.. but when it comes to the hunt? I've not participated since my mid teens. During that time? I've stumbled into some incredible romances.

Romance, to me is based on friendship. Ideally, a kindred spirit. Even less then that.. there is some commonality. Some occurrence in our lives.. separate, together.. something that bonds. Not as if I try to find it.. It just is.


The difficult part is:
It is so incredibly forceful. So powerful... the connection is not expected or planned. It could last for a day... a life... but in your mind? It is there all the time after.

Yes. of course, it might become a physically loving relationship over the course of time. Beyond embrace.

Most? For me? Don't.

However.. they are romances. Some.. ongoing. It is just a story, lasting decades. We embrace.. are dear friends to eachother. I am with other women.. who she knows of .. she is with men who I consider friends. In fact.. the one I'm thinking of while writing this... is getting married. He knows of me, I'm sure... if he could not handle my presence in her life... Chances are? There would be no way she would marry him. Very much the way I think in regards to my life. Anyone who cannot deal with Steph... Has no chance with me.

How did I get everyone to fall in love with me? Hmmmm. I had sex with them. Boinked the living crap out of them. Screwed em to screaming multiple orgasms. Yeah THEN they tell me they love me. What a crock of crap. Freaking romantic huh?

And the LITTLE THINGS go such a long way with us. Women like to feel a man really cares about her. Like calling her when the weather is bad to make sure you made it to work ok. Making sure the oil in her car has been changed. Making sure her cell phone is charged. Calling her to see if she needs anything before you arrive to her home. Bringing her one red rose when you get there. Women want to be pampered and made to feel like she is the most important thing in the world to you, even if she's not. If you can make a woman feel like that, there is almost nothing she won't do for you.

And don't think that just because we get a little older, we don't want to be romanced and made to feel like a school girl again. We spend 90% of our lives taking care of children and other people, when do we get a chance to be taken care of?

Nope.. not a clue. I'm not a woman. I do know how people in general like to be treated. I am a 'people'. Beyond that? I am willing to do what ever it takes for the right woman.

A guitar on a rainy night helps. A DVD of "Casablanca" and some popcorn works good. Telling her sister, "If things don't work out, how about you and I roll with it?" is not so good of an idea.....

Well, my little romantic thing wasnt really to "make her fall in love with me" we had gone out a couple of times already.

So i set up a nice picnic at sunset on a cliff overseeing the ocean. When the sun went down we started to star gaze. After a little while i pointed out one star in particular and asked her if she new its name. Then i told her it was her star, i had it named after her.

I usually dig a hole, put a tarp over it, cover it with leaves and wait for someone to fall in , hoping it's a woman.

Sometimes I like to use a box and a carrot though.

Hmmm, I guess that I just did whatever felt natural, be me. That's who she fell for right?
