I've been in Hawaii for about two years now and I'm starting to really appreciate it. At first, I was really focused on work, starting a new job and getting used to the environment. For a while, I was so busy that I thought - I'm living in paradise and I'm not even enjoying it. So I took up surfing. Surfing is awesome. I now understand why so many people are hooked on it.
I'm a regular guy, the collegiate type, the kind you'd be happy to introduce to your friends and family. I'm always interested in learning new things and exposing myself to new cultures. I like to try to learn new languages, new cultures, and try new foods. I'm also interesting in traveling, but I'm not a great planner, which unfortunate because that's part of my job. :) So, if you have any travel ideas, I'd like to hear them. Palau sounds good, or traveling around Asia. About a year ago I bought a condo, and furnishing is something I'm not great at. :) I bought some nice furniture, but I'm not really sure what my decorating style is... Maybe it's, buy leather stuff, attempt arrange it, then wonder if the "really minimalistic look" was what I was going for. This is where I need your help. I pretty good at arranging things that are pre-existing, but starting with a blank canv is impossible. HELP!
I'd like to find someone who's relatively active, but not a gym-a-holic, likes to travel, enjoys good food, cooks, plays tennis, and would enjoy hanging out with me at my place for a good italian meal.
For work, I manage technology project for the Navy. Primarily my work involves providing software solutions to companies that need them.
