I traveled 110 miles only because I really liked the Man. Then he came to visit me in my City. We had great times, he was a Real charmer.
Usually I don't travel to meet a man First. I do have money but I like spending it on Me not traveling to a meeting! You really don't know if the man has any Real Romantic interest in you . |

I have only gone an hour away...and that was someplace I was going anyway (bluegrass jam in Bowling Green..I went regularly)
He lived about 45 mintutes the *other* direction...so it was like halfway. He'd lied about some things (*least* of which he wasn't divorced yet)..so..it was a short date (we went to eat before I headed to the jam) Never chatted with him again...he didn't message me again either...LOL *IF* the person seeemd really promising...I'd do 2 hours.. I do not fly, period...and not interested in driving 4-5 hours on a crap shoot.. If someone is *that* far away..and wants to meet me..he'll either need to travel *here*..or at least a lot closer. But..those distances are irrelevant..as the only guys that reply to messages *I* send who are more than 50-100 miles away claim anything further than 20-30 miles is "too far".. Honey, I used to drive further than *that* for *groceries*... I'd certainly drive 120 miles to meet someone promising... But..whatever...you do you...peace, love, and cinnamon rolls to ya. |

I had men travel here from 800 miles away , 1500 miles away , and 210 Miles , Away, the others were within 80 miles, which is 1 hourand half.
However, these older gentlemen traveled to meet woman of interest to them for a date. It was a Norm for them and they didn't mind. Online it is. Hard to Meet guys who do that! You have to be on the Right kind of Dating sites,. Where they are more serious about a nice date. Some were nicer than others. I even got two marriage proposals but I declined I wasn't IN LOVE. No hookups or one nighters I'm not into sex asap If you PAY money out you get Serious or leave the datesites. IMO |

"How far have you traveled for an online date?"
I haven't had an online date yet, so zero miles. I've traveled to meet a couple friends I've met online, but they weren't potential dates. It depends on the situation and what made more sense as to who does the traveling. With my doing seasonal work and travel, if it were in between jobs, I would travel to him. Ultimately for a date, I would prefer him travel to me! But, I am willing to travel the distance if it makes more sense... or to meet half way as well. |

I drove 4 hours one way to see someone.. But he was more than a date
Just a date or meet... Never more than 20 minutes |

I traveled about 350 miles. I'm not doing that again. Sorry it wasn't what you thought it would be! Some Women travel more, even hundreds of miles just to meet a Man To find out it didn't work out. She spent her own dollars. What a bummer. |

Online? I sit in a chair.
I have NEVER dated "online". All my dates have been in the real world. |
|
|
|
Like a meet & greet? No more than 15 mins, approx 14 kilometers max. Which allows a perimeter with a few nice restaurants.
So I drive to the nearest restaurant of interest. No further. |

Im not sure if its an online date. My daughters dad, I met online. We chatted for almost a year before he paid for me to go to the UK and meet him. WE went on a vacation to Spain from there. And a year and a half or so later of 'talking' and visiting back and forth, we married, unfortunately, in the UK.

And a year and a half or so later of 'talking' and visiting back and forth, we married, unfortunately, in the UK. How did you even get him to talk to you? I emssage guys who I seem to have a lot in common with in other states occasionally (because those who share my interests are rare here)... And they all say "too far"...and don't do long distance. I'd even be open to someone further away, or even Scotland/ Ireland/ England (provided *they* had money to travel here).. Tried messaging a couple guys over there that seemed to have similar interests.... ~~crickets~~ |

I have never experienced a long distance relationship, I imagine it must be quite tired for each person to keep this relationship. So, I really want to build a relationship in a short distance, that' s very enjoyable and relax for us.
