I get that, same as this friggin damp cold weather is not for me Traverse City wasn't this bad.. it was chilly there but not quite the frigid bone piercing cold. It's 55 degrees here and 70 in Traverse City right now.

I spent a couple months in Phoenix during the months of July, August, and September and it is dryer. But that was 15 years ago, I imagine they've planted more grass and created more golf courses, so it could be more humid in some areas.

out towards the coast they can. just like you on the island. it takes a lot to warm up that big lake
