Are you trying to figure out why someone that might have joined Sun 06/29/14 pops up in the forums rather recently?
Their reasons are as unique as the people.

If you mean why people come back... (I'm also not certain what you're inquiring about here)...

Recently it seems to be mainly cos some other dating site decided to pull the plug.

For me, I've never left, just not always as active. I was still here when I was involved with someone. Not as much, but I've never left. To me this is just a forum with people you sort of get to know over time. To me M2 is not a dating site, I don't use it as such either.
When looking for a potential partner I revert to national dating sites.

I joined Mingle a few years ago but deleted or deactivated after almost a year, because I wanted to date. Mingle is more of a social site for Forums mostly. I was gone for almost 4yrs dated off Paid relationships sites had many dates in Person. Men some travel for miles because I live in small town. Unfortunately no real Love connection on my part. but few great dates. I'm back on mingle few months now mainly it is free and for the forums.

I wish they would delete people who are no longer on here.
They keep a deactivated profile for decades.

Oh and people pop up on forums because Hundreds are on mingle, and never really want to play on the Forums. So they just pop in now and then.

Yea I have a similar story. Wow! didn't know they kept profiles, interesting. I don't usually forum but I was trying to understand the question as well..

I got busy doing lots of work last time plus I went on a dating site where I first joined

Sometimes I am stopping when I become too addicted to something.. when I cannot get enough sleep.. when I cannot concentrate in my work.. then I come back when things are okay again.. like now, it's my vacation.. I will be back to work on May 21

Yep, I was more active there.Had more luck meeting local woman's when I had on here.
Came back after I heard it will close..
When I was registering I was told I have an account.
So here I am. But it seems like there aren't many local woman's are here,and quite frankly the forums could be more interesting.
But it's good to kill a little time.

I reckon its down to the general interaction or banter with fellow minglers on the forums that they stay around or come back especially when there are not enough members in local areas who are mutual in wishing to date.
