Thanks for sharing Mikey. It is that dark stain in our history, that will haunt us Germans forever. What and how it happened is simply not excusable. Sure, I think the blame definitely laid at the top. The majority of people were following orders so they could survive, as most nations do, although not in the same way. Same as the Russians shot there own! |

I think the jews were the biggest voice left after the war hence them being so prominent. In my op I do state that it was the 'final solution' and that was to exterminate the jews! Next to the piles of shoes there were also piles of children's body braces, prosthetic limbs removed from the disabled. |

Thanks 2email I feel the same. Ok, you may hate or have a problem with an adult but some of those who led little children by the hand to there death are beyond words. I'm not referring to the picture, that was women and children fresh off the train going straight to the gas chamber! |

It is imperative That we and future generation remember. We all must remember the horror of this. It goes on decade after decade. In Africa no one intervened. Also, remember the countries of the world would not accept Jewish immigration that what I find shameful even when they were being exterminated. That what is happening today with Syrian Refugees and the refugee from the middle East. Governments really don't represent the PEOPLE or it citizens well.
