Yes you can, but it didn't work .. I'm on a computer .. using google Chrome and Chromium .. Windows7 and Linux .. both the same - nothing.
But was able to see them in Mikey's profile.
Perhaps it's due to the cellphone upload .. wondering .. will check with my phone too .. thanks for the suggestion, Delightful!

Auschwitz. This is one of the most seen views, the railway track going through the entrance to birkenau, the main camp next to auschwitz.
This was purpose built by the nazis where they murdered some 1.5 million men, women and children. They were separated as soon as they left the train. Most women and children plus the disabled and sick were taken straight to the gas chamber after being stripped.

This picture shows one of the carriages they were transferred in. Up to 200 in each, some spending 2-3-4 days in them without food, water and sanitation.
There were 47 other transfer camps around Europe, from Norway to Italy.

This picture I took from one exhibited. It shows mothers and children just arrived at the camp and after being separated from loved ones. they were on the way to the gas chamber.

Hi soufie.
Yes, although it was about 84°
There is a myth that it's permanently cold and the birds do not sing.
Not really so.

Definitely. I was surprised how many American people visit there.
It's a long trip!
I do have a couple more photos I'll put on.

Thanks for your comments, if you're ever in Europe it's worth the effort to visit.

Thanks for sharing Mikey.

It is that dark stain in our history, that will haunt us Germans forever. What and how it happened is simply not excusable.
I don't know if anyone blames all Germans at the time, but I do blame a handfull at the top, under Hitler... Citizens that tried to help the jews were killed by the military, and since Hitler took all their weapons away, there was nothing the people could do to help...

Sure, I think the blame definitely laid at the top.
The majority of people were following orders so they could survive, as most nations do, although not in the same way.
Same as the Russians shot there own!
