The ski pants passed the test. Still a little chilly though, but the longer I walked, they seemed to keep my body heat in.

Excellent... Kinda glad you didn't take my fleece lined jeans.. laugh

I would suggest you try and find a pair that fits you. I love them...

Troubles up.. Bbl.. waving

Awww, why not Stu...ice fishing is fun laugh

When you have a shanty! I went a couple times without a shanty, and yeah, when the wind kicks up holy cow it's cold.

It's not my idea of fun either. I'd much rather be able to sit back and relax, enjoying the sunshine and warmth.

Morning girl,,, doing good getting last minute things done prior to Christmas..

Just wish it was going to be a bit warmer so I could go riding..

Pouring down raining here today...whoa But we need it..

Glad to see you are having such a great time there..

If you can take the offer working with horses and kids jump at it girl..

Had horses for 17 years I do miss them but it was a great experience having them while my kids grew up.. We did all the playdays, team penning & barrels racing at times as well got to ride in a lot of Parades.... They are beautiful creatures to hang out with.. And nothing better then seeing a kids face light up that gets to ride for the first time... bigsmile

Note to Eric

He wasn't my dog
My ex never tried to train him
She had new twin boys when her husband brought him home

I'm finding you can't teach old dogs new tricks

laugh

au contraire mon frer.
it CAN be done.

your sack just needs to be bigger than the dog's. laugh

That's a bummer about the weather, hopefully it will clear up for you to have a nice ride.

It's pretty cool here. There are a lot of students from other countries working the season. Last night we had International presentation night, so I went and learned quite a bit about the Malaysian culture.

I was a little hesitant to work with a bunch of young adults, but they are actually a really nice group of youngsters. Most of them are grateful to have the opportunity to work in another country and are eager to do a good job. The team work is phenomenal, at least so far.

Yes, I want to take a little mini break in April to visit my sons and a friend or two, but then would love to come back and spend time working at the stable. The manager said if I work in the office, I can have my own bunk house. If I would out in the stable, I'll have to bunk with someone else and could be someone really young.

So many options! My work place in the Keys wants me back in the summer, but I'm ready to spread my wings and explore life at a new level.

Have a wonderful Christmas holiday and hope you get to ride that bike soon. biggrin

Awww I live in Texas who knows what the weather will do, never know here one day it is cool the next in the 70's lol...

So the cool weather will not hang around long never does here..

Hey I would take the office job that way you get the best of both worlds and you can hang out with the horses when not too busy.... And a place by yourself...

It seems to me that kids or adults that work with horses is a totally different breed... Horses seems to bring the kid out in us all~~~

Definitely, my thoughts exactly. I like being outdoors, but having an office job would be a nice change and good experience. I could have it now, but I made a commitment to the YMCA to work until April 11th, so I plan to honor that first.

Yea the office job would be sweet and learn a new area that will only help in the long run.....

And your not out in the stables doing the hard labor instead you get to enjoy the horses..

Plus the idea of a bunk house of your own even sweetens the deal~~bigsmile
