Make sure when you go back to load up on water, way to cook if electric is still out at the time and food you have a way to keep... Plenty of gas as well since there will not be any in the area..

So Pisces, you didn't have floods and are good to go? I hope and good luck. A lot of the area flooded, but our place is on higher ground. The street and yard flooded some, but our mobile home is raised up, so I am assuming it is okay. My sister's friend said the house looks good and no water in the yard. It's a miracle, our trailer is really old and needs a lot of work. |

My house is good, no problems..... Yippee Thank you God Amen for that my friend... Thanks, but I spoke too soon! My sister's friend said it looked fine! We just got pictures from my niece's dad. It's not fine! It looks like it sat under two feet of water from the water line on the sofa on the porch. It's still standing, but there's so much damage. My niece's trailer' siding is ripped apart and some of it gone, the yard looks like a huge junk yard with lots of tree branches mixed in. If the roof didn't leak, a lot of my stuff will be okay, I put it in bins up higher than three feet. I have stuff, but no home I guess it could have been worse, it could have been completely gone. Most importantly, we are still alive. Hopefully some of it will be salvageable. |

That's heartbreaking. My heart goes out to you, Pisces. Thank you, we haven't seen the inside yet so I will know more once I am able to return. I won't have to sleep under a bridge, so that's a blessing. Home will have to be where ever my heart is. It just really sucks! |

That's a dam annoying piece of news pisces As monty pythons sing in the film "Life of Brian " Always look on the bright side of life " You know it could have been a lot worse |

I feel for you. I am glad you have options, some don't. Hopefully there will be enough money granted for those that are displaced. Watch for black mold - it can make you sick. |

Thanks Tom and Mikey, yes it could have been worse and I had originally planned for it to not even be there, so we at least have something to work with.
It might not be salvageable, but yes, there are programs that can help. They are letting those who live in the Upper Keys back in, so we will be returning in the next day or two. |
