I don't think anywhere in Florida is safe at this point, and parts of South Florida, especially the Keys will be history. |

On the island of St Martin people have been robed at gun point by gangs of looters, the island is jointly owned by France and Holland. The curfew seems to be being ignored!

You'd think as "they "do mess with the weather , seeding clouds and such like that it would be possible to slow it down from the start?

some think of it as an opportunity to steal. Open season on looters.

I have a silly question:
Why is Irma turning North? What is keeping it from threading the needle and entering the Gulf? Is it the winds from Katia? Is it the temperature of the water in the Gulf? I mean everyone is so sure it is going to turn North but what if it doesn't? There has to be a reason for the Northern turn. Weather prediction computers are very powerful and smart. I just don't understand? If it is wind related from Katia, If Katia is hitting Mexico and diminishing will that change the track? Could it be a thermal difference related to the thermal radiation of the Cuban land mass? |

hope you're all safe?
