Only the person in that situation can answer that.
Depends on many factors. |

What Annie said..
Giving up the struggle isn’t about opting out, it’s about engaging more fully with yourself. In the end we all have our own nature. Accept yourself. |

Give up or strugle
I choose door number three. I struggled, didn't really get anywhere. I tried to give up, that just wasn't gunna work out for me. I decided to just let life lead me where it leads me. I have no real expectations so no real disappointments either. If I survive the night, I'll take what life throws at me and just make the best of it. So it has been for the last 6 years and I am content. Something breaks, you throw it away or fix it. If you can't fix it you get another or learn to do without it. Live in the moment. |

I'm in the "over what?" camp.
Last piece of cake? You can have it. Find the right way to say something I want to say? Struggle forever, or until I'm satisfied. Someone not sure if they like me enough or not? Pass. Performing a rescue? Stay until it's done. |

To quote Winger, the band...Easy come, Easy Go.
Those who face the struggle, will reap their rewards eventually. |

If you let something have freedom and it comes back, it is yours. if you give something freedom and it never comes back, it never was yours in the first place.
As far as holding or or letting go its best to hold on in these situations. Riding a bus Riding a roller coaster Tacking in a sailboat Riding a horse or mule Holding a fire-hose when the hydrate is opened......etc. You get the idea? Much better to hold on than just let go in these cases. |
