On an up note I found that automobile enthusiasts have been buying the old molds. I got to see a brand new 57 Chevy made in 1990. It was basically the same car but you really couldn't call it a customization but more of an alteration with the improvements that came about with the advent of technology. The new maker was selling them like hot cakes.

Not around here. I wish. In Harrison they did have a place across from Bogle's glass that was taking old VW Bugs and making RVs out of them. Brother-in-law is coming back from Harrison and is going to help me with my old car. It sure is cold weather to work outside on them. I got a big flashlight and a drop light. We both got tools. Thinking about putting on a pot of coffee.

I usually run up to Blue Eye, Missouri to get cigarettes cheaper at the package store. That new bypass was finally opened up on 65-62 turning off at Bear Creek Springs, Arkansas. I used to take Highway 14 from Yellville to Omaha but the other way through the weight station that joins on to 65 going by way of Pyatt is just so must faster. I did find that th gas station at Bear Creek Springs is no longer open. I was just glad that my car made to Alpena without running out of gas. My ex's grandmother used to work at Crystal Mountain Inn in Eureka on top of the mountain.

Yup. Sure have. My son had to go to the boy's ranch in Blue Eye. Its called Lives Under Construction. I liked picking up the free Calendar at the store in Blue Eye. My brother-in-law stopped by and he was helping to string out the drop light. I turned the key on the ignition to show him what the car was doing and the car started. My brother-in-law told me, "Well, call me any time you need someone to string out the drop light." Then he told me he was going to go get drunk.laugh

On 103 which is Springfield Street in Green Forest. It is right after you go through Oak Grove. It is right before you reach Blue Eye. Both 103 and 311 out of Green Forest will take you to Blue Eye. I found a lot of short cuts when I drove the school bus in Green Forest for two years. I started out as a regular route driver driving the Green Forest to the old 68 highway before it was 412 and then was a back up driver. I got to know almost all of the twenty school bus routes. Funny thing was when I got to meet the state school bus route coordinator. The Green Forest school bus shop foreman told him I needed to meet him. As soon as I met him he asked me if I still held it against him for paddling my butt in twelfth grade. He was my old principal from Marshall.laugh

Yeah. I am watching Pancho and Cisco now. laugh I used to live on 7th street in Green Forest when I worked for Tyson Foods for 13 years. One night I worked overtime at Tyson and drove the school bus the next day. About fell asleep with 70 kids on board. I made it to the shop and told the school I quit. I was doing ok till they starting letting school out early which messed up my sleep.

I lived on East 7th street about the middle of the block. The school graveled an area for me to park the bus so it wouldn't get stuck in the mud. In the winter I would plug a cord out to it to keep it warm. The only trouble I had was when the kids would try to play on the bus when I came home after dropping off the kids.
