Ah! This is the "damsel in mild distress" ploy. Excellent choice, though somewhat dependent on exact delivery of the line. As long as you don't deliver it as though you are a hooker trying to rifle the guys pockets on the spot, it would work well on someone like me. I'm a standard issue wanna-be knight-in-armor type, or maybe that should be "repair-tech-in-jeans." Chances are, if I was confronted with that in real life, I would completely miss that it was anything but genuine, and would offer to switch seats immediately. On the good side, normal conversation could ensue right after. I just hope you'd like my seat.

I've again, known guys who would immediately be sure that their response to it should be "There's a lock on the bathroom door!" followed by a lewd wink.

But I was thinking we were talking about AFTER people had gotten past the first meet, and were trying to decide who should make the first SEXUAL move. That gets trickier.
