Every day gets a wee better, thank you for inquiring :-) The swelling has come way down, the bruising is diminishing and tis a matter of letting the tendons repair themselves, which means staying off the feet for some time. I am being waited on hand and foot and I face only the trauma of getting to and from the bathroom :-)

And yes, just love the nosy Sam (I was hoping she and the Inspector would get it on) and the other original guy seems to have gone, the one with the bad leg. Jut luv the old cars and the mood of it all, oh and the post-war issues they faced. And Honeysuckle is surely an original :-)

I totally rely on British films for that era, besides which everyone in British films can act and it shows.. in America, people get movie roles for all sorts of reasons only some of which have to do with acting talent :-( Every now and again they will put together a serial like that here, say 'Lonesome Dove' that movie stars will deign to act in, on the telly and they usually turn out pretty good but I canna think of any with the class of 'Foley's War.' What a gift you gave me! Yeah I missed a few even though they were listed in order they did not always show up, like, I saw Sam agree to move to The Inspector's house but not the moving or when she moved out?
