So when one has to take meds for blood pressure
they can make one dizzy and one tends to fall. Down. So I have been practicing..falling. So the next time I was ready to pass out, I purposefully collapsed..inward, legs crossed, down on the fanny. Problem was, both feet were tucked in, going the wrong way when I fell, injuring all the ridge tendons in each foot. It is like I have no feet. Have you ever tried to do anything with no feet? Bathroom ablutions are the first priority, then water, then food..then pain management..then cleanliness. One learns to scoot real fast. And the bed looks like Grand Central Station. And I am bed-bound for the duration. Me and my bedpan. The pain is such I think it will be weeks. Happened yesterday. Encouragement is much appreciated :-) |

Ouch! !
The first thing that came to mind when I noticed your thread was the film 'happy feet ' and the little penguin I think you must keep the weight off them as much as possible but at the same time keep them moving to prevent stiffness Just one other thing, I thought it a bit rude to say you fell on your 'fanny ' It means something completely different here Good luck |

I must pretend the feet are simply not there. Very strange. Ummm, what does fanny mean besides fanny? |

Oh, dear!!!
Like mikey4yousweety I thought this might be about someone's inability to dance. I wish it were as what actually happened made me wince. Over here the fanny is the next exit to the one you call the fanny. Landing on that would have required extreme splits Here's hoping you have a speedy recovery |

Makes getting around really hard.... get you a small stool on rollers if you have flat floors through out the house but not wheelchair accessible it can make a big difference.. Hahahah ice chest next to the bed for snacks and drinks while Krupa is at work..... and a potty chair... your set.. ohh lots of books too.. I feel for ya if I was close I would come keep ya company~~~ |

Well anyone who cares to can walk a mile in my shoes. I won't be needing them for a bit. If they are a size 11 uk , or equivalent and not more than a 4 inch heel I'll take them. funky, maybe I can go out tonight! |
