Of course I sometimes hate being single, however, learning to be my own person in these times is very rewarding. Just saying!  I have to agree. I would have to say everyone gets lonely occasionally. I know I do,but it doesn't last to long. Having the time and freedom to get in one's own head and straightening out the years of madness that has accumulated is rewarding.

Been single 4 years now, it's just reality. The good part is I don't have to answer to anyone and I get the whole bed to myself.

I was once in a longterm relationship with a great guy ,where I also felt lonely, so loneliness doesnt feel like a scary monster anymore .
It's every bit a part of life as headaches and the flu. Nobody likes either but WE ALL have to go through it at one time or another.Loneliness comes and goes like flus and headaches, and some cycles of it hit us harder than other times. But after we get that sad energy out of us, find some fun things to do, and fun people to do it. Enjoy your FREEDOM!!! And remember.... We can stop being single any time we want to! There is usually someone out there who wanted us that WE CHOSE to reject , because we are not desperate enough to accept just any and every person to fill the void we feel. The single life isnt a curse. It's an empowered CHOICE! |

 Had a date last night, and I asked him out. Congrats cat. Way to go. :ontopic: I am an introvert. So I enjoy time to myself. I can watch porn whenever I want. Not have to answer my phone when I don't want to. Eat or not eat if I choose to. |

I keep myself busy and have a lot of friends and some " more then friends" so for me, no its not a issue. Its how you approach things....don't take everything soo seriously.. laugh a lot.. even at yourself ;) Good for you, greeneyes Some "more than friends"? Friends with benefits? Some means more than one or two... several? Do they know each other? You must be a catch, greeneyes  I've know " some" over the years...no, never more then one lady in my life at a time...and most all long term. I'm not running a harem ;) Do they know each other?, they knew of them, but I never mentioned their names..( and never would) and they never asked.. so, no. A catch?.. well, I've never been thrown out of bed ;) |
