I admit I have used the delete button a couple of times, I can admit it, but that doesn't mean I still agree with it. I haven't used it is ages. I just leave the thread and report if it gets out of hand. I liked it the old way. Just do. Too many idiots willy nilly delete happy. The privilidge (sp?) has been abused and since it was supposed to be a trial period, I for one think it should be over and deleted

pity/attention seeking...I see this several times a day in the poetry threads...It's a POEM! a form of creative expression If it's not filthy leave it alone...these people have every right as a member to express their love of poetry.

There is also a "do not delete" button to the right of the "delete" button.

I've used that when a thread that held my interest was looking like it was gonna get killed a quick and untimely death.

It only takes seven hits to immortalize a tread.

i would argue that your choice in threads just showed that the system DOES work, as the thread was NOT deleted.

that votes to delete
ANY non xxxrated or non bigotted
new member thread
in the new member area
should lose mod privaledges
and get a posting suspension
