We don't just sit waiting for something to happen, do what is necessary to make your life worth living and meaningful. But I must say that not all the things we desire will be granted. Not all our expectations are met, there will always be disappointments and failures but don't let it stop you to go after what you want, keep on trying and searching for something that would give more meaning to your life.

I waited tables for a while many moons ago. And geez I hated waiting for people to make up their minds. But then sometimes they left a good tip. So yeah, if you're a good waiter, sometimes waiting pays off.

it depends, if waiting is the only thing happenning or if acting on what we are waiting for is happening I can wait for a broken bone to be mended,,,but until I go to a hospital or care provider,, it wont happen once I get there though, I will probably get better service if I wait for my turn,, then if I get frustrated and give up

Do good things really happen to those who wait? My grandma died waiting for something good I would think and sometimes I try not to would all have to do with what one is waiting for ... what is good to some may not be what good is to another ... did your grandmother specifically say... what kind of good she was waiting for ... I believe sometimes we all may have the good but not know it or be thankful for it ... what is good is the ? ... I think ... which again can be different to another... a for instants I would like to win the lottery ...oh but wait... I have to play it first ...to know the answer...

Do good things really happen to those who wait? My grandma died waiting for something good yes, and bad things too. good and bad happen to the patient and impatient alike. However, a good thing rarely happens if it requires effort that one gives up on.

Oftentimes, waiting for good things to happen can lead to nothing. One must keep on moving towards his/her goals/dreams.

Playa_playa (OP) couldn't wait, but decided to deactivate .. so he/she obviously didn't believe in waiting methinks .. If personally .. I don't believe in waiting either .. patience is sometimes a key, but it might happen that if you've been waiting and waiting, and became old and gray, then you might realize some day that it's too late - all the best things are gone for good, and there is nothing left to wait for .. except one thing .. So as the saying goes -- each man is the best blacksmith of his own destiny and luck in this world .. don't wait for things to happen ..

I general, I am not much of a believer in waiting for things to happen. I rather make things happen, if I can.
