Topic: I see God's presence...

...every minute of my life, and that is why I just can't understand how some people just don't believe in God. It's really hard to understand how people can't see God when His presence is so evident every minute of this life.

This is my own personal testimony of how God has shown to me in the last three years.

When I came here to US, I came alone, I have some relatives here, but all of them live in Central Florida area, but they are about one hour driving. That means that I've been pretty much by myself.

I started school as soon as I came here, so I had to pay what is call out of state fees, which made my fees three times higher than everybody else.

My first job was in a landscaping company, then I went to work in a restaurant as a dish washer. While working a in the restaurant I just quited because the boss was an a s s h o l e, and I don't have that much patience with this specie (though I ask God everyday to give me more patience).

At that very same time I needed to come out with around 3000 dollars which was the fee for four classes. Out of a blue ski I met my last boss the owner of the furniture shop where I worked for two years. He helped me out he gave that money for me to pay school, then I paid him back every week with a deduction from my paycheck. (you see how God acted through this persian person) (my ex - boss is from Iran).

Then my ex - boss soldme my old truck for 1600 dollars which he also discounted from my paycheck. (By myself I was never foing to be able to get the money to buy a car by myself, remember I've been paying all my school upfront) (As a newcomer I did not have access to financial aid)

As I did good with my grades, and I had good GPA (again God blessed me because I did not have that much time because in the shop we worked between 50 to 60 hours a week plus I'm by myself nobody did anything for me) later on i had access to some scholarships, but they did not cover the whole thing, so I needed to come out with some more money.

Along the three years of my education I always got short of money when it was time to pay the school fees, but somehow God always showed up in the last moment, and I got the money to pay school and all my needs, and I could carry on.

I'm really close to graduation (one month).

And then again through a God's blessing I got a new job. Why is this a God's blessing? Because I was not looking for a job, a classmate asked me if I wanted to give her my resume for an entry level position as paralegal, and I did so. I went to the interview and after a lot of going and coming I got the Job this monday.

For this reasons and others, I see God's presence everywhere and everytime. Moreover, I just can't understand how some peope can live their lives without seeing God when he is something so evident.

I believe that sometimes we arrange our beliefs system to satisfy our own needs, being selfish and denying the existance of a superior force. Sometimes we as human beings think that we have control over everything in this world. Our sin is PRIDE, to think that everything we have we get for ourselves, and not because the huge love of God that only wants our well being.

But as I always say this is my opinion, and to each one its own.

When a person feels God's love he/she does not need to try to find a logical (algebraic) definition of God. The only way to express his/her understanding of God is through testimony.
Because after all God is not a concept that can be understood, God is a being that just can be felt in the heart.

I'm happy for you Miguel and I don't know you. Having to raise 9 children on my own, I know the power of God. I believe in him, but will never force my beliefs on anyone. I just know the miracles he has given me. They started with my children. They continue every day that I am here with them. Feliz dia Miguel.
